Talliant Advisors was founded as we saw a gap in the market to provide quality talent advisory services to clients at a more reasonable price point and faster turnaround time. This is especially true for startups and smaller companies which do not have the luxury of having a big team of in-house talent management/ acquisition resources to fill senior and strategic roles and at the same time, find the relatively hefty and upfront fees charged by big, retained search firms prohibitive. Meanwhile large MNCs which can afford expensive fees often lament the slow turnaround time. As a boutique, we operate as a lean team and hence our time-to-market in engaging candidates will be much faster while maintaining the quality of work.
Talliant comes from the words “Talent” and “Brilliant”. We believe that everyone is a talent in his/her own right. If talents are placed in a role that allows them to realise their full potential, it would be a brilliant outcome for the organizations they work for and for themselves.

Kheng Liang is the Managing Director and Founder of Talliant Advisors. He is a seasoned talent management professional with 15 years of executive search and in-house talent management experience gained from working in best-in-class companies: Russell Reynolds Associates (RRA), Korn Ferry and Temasek International. As a trusted client advisor to both regional and multinational organizations from around the globe, Kheng Liang leverages deep industry knowledge to provide tailored insights, building effective leadership teams with top executive talent. He has worked on many senior-level searches across various industries, including technology, education, public sector, financial services and industrial sectors, and across various functions such as general management, sales and marketing, finance, information technology, human resources and supply chain.
Kheng Liang was previously a senior member of RRA’s Technology Sector, based in Singapore. He led the Software & Cloud and Business & Professional Services practices in South-East Asia and was a member of the Technology Officers Practice globally. He also spent a portion of his time on clients in the Education Sector.
Before that, Kheng Liang was a key member of the talent acquisition team in Temasek International, responsible for leading a small team and overseeing global recruitment strategies and activities. Notably, he was instrumental in building up the Technology department in Temasek to help drive digital transformation in the company. He was earlier involved in board reviews and the facilitation of the appointment of board directors to Temasek's portfolio companies. Prior to Temasek, he was with a boutique leadership advisory firm and spent more than six years with Korn Ferry. Kheng Liang began his career with Singapore’s Defence Science & Technology Agency.
Kheng Liang holds a degree in mechanical engineering from the National University of Singapore and an MBA from INSEAD. Kheng Liang is bilingual in English and Mandarin.

Irene is the Lead Executive Coach and Executive Search Consultant at Talliant Advisors. Before she earned her certifications as a coach, she spent 23 years in Richemont Luxury, a Swiss conglomerate dealing with high end luxury products. It was a rare opportunity to start with a new incorporation, making its presence in Singapore back in the 80s. Started as the Chief Accountant, she rose to General Manager and, finally, Finance Director in the last 3 to 4 years. She had the opportunity to deal with diverse cultures with prestigious brands from all over the globe. The ongoing brands acquisitions called for leadership capacity and capability, balancing strong collaborative relationships with Csuite/senior executives and teams at all levels.
In her decision to make a career switch, she embarked on adult education which led her to discover an untapped talent and passion of hers to make a difference in someone’s life. With that, she has helped individuals from all walks of life to live better, be it career/work-related or personal space.
As an executive coach, she has coached leaders holding positions such as Director of Global Government Affairs & Policies in APAC, MD of HR Consulting, Group GM (manufacturing), Marketing & Regional Product Manager (China), Global Retail & Sales Capability Manager (retail, FMCG).
Over the pandemic period, her clientele included several professionals in the financial industry namely, Portfolio Manager, Financial Analyst, Execution Trader, Risk Manager.
Irene has a very strong relational personality which complements her coaching effectiveness in leadership and people related matters. Her coaching philosophy: “I focus on helping individuals to gain self awareness and understand themselves. Most of the times, the stumbling blocks are just within ourselves. When one discovers his/her blind spots, the “positive change” journey begins.”
Irene is a Chartered Accountant and a Professional Certified Coach (PCC), International Coaching Federation (ICF). She is bilingual in English and Chinese – Cantonese.
Cliff is a Director of Business Development at Talliant Advisors. He is a CFA Charterholder and Chartered Management Accountant and has more than 20 years of deep industry experience spanning the construction, healthcare, finance and technology sectors.
Prior to joining Talliant Advisors, he spent almost 4 years at a Health Tech startup as its CFO, where in addition to managing the day-to-day finance functions, he was also instrumental in leading multiple rounds of successful fund-raising efforts.
Before that, he spent a total of more than 12 years in corporate finance advisory first in the investment banking division of OCBC Bank and then as a senior partner at a boutique corporate advisory outfit, where he successfully led and completed many M&A and fundraising transactions.
Cliff started his career as a civil engineer on a scholarship bond before moving on to a 4-year stint in hospital management and then transiting successfully into the finance sector after attaining his CFA qualification. He holds a degree in civil engineering from the National University of Singapore.
